Shri Rakesh Ballabh is a law graduate from the University of Delhi and has served the Department of Revenue (Customs, Central Excise & Service Tax) for nearly 37 years. He has vast practical and field experience in Customs and Central Excise, particularly Investigations, Legal, Adjudication, Appeal and Technical issues. In addition, he also has tremendous experience in Vigilance and Service matters. He retired voluntarily from the Department in 2015 to take up independent practice in the above areas.
